April 10, 2022 – The journey is discovery, the discovery is wonderful. And living while traveling is fantastic. But… Our “but” began in May of last year, when we discovered that a health problem would have forced us to suspend our adventure. Loaded with optimism as usual, we waited patiently, to be able to leave again.
Day after day, for different reasons, this goal has drifted away. Fate has not always been benign in recent months, and therefore we had to make a virtue out of necessity. In this context, the modification work on our Falkor took much longer than expected. Thus, “nailed” to our “home that looks like a motorhome“, we continued to dream.
Now we are fed up. The dream is beautiful, for heaven’s sake, but making it real is much more exciting. So, despite our health still not allowing us to launch indefinitely on Italian and European roads, we asked to our friends of Gulliver’s Camper, who are treating Falkor, to help us out. Our appeal has not gone unheeded, so in the week we are about to start we will have one of their stunning monocoque creations available.
We plan to have a couple of weeks of relaxation, at a very very slow pace, to regain confidence with life on four wheels and, above all, to replenish a good dose of optimism on which to lay the foundations for the months to come. Seimetri.it is getting back on the road!
